As part of a project logistics operation, IPLS GmbH and IPLS India LLP relocated various machines and equipment from Finland via Germany to India.
The customer, based in North Rhine-Westphalia, commissioned the IPLS team to handle the road pre-carriage, consolidation at the Elmenhorst site, packaging, sea freight and on-carriage to the respective final destinations in India.
As the customer operates three locations in India that were to be equipped with these machines and equipment, the shipments were routed through the ports of Kolkata, Chennai and Nhava Sheva.
In total, more than thirty 40′ FR and over one hundred 40′ HC were shipped from Germany to India as part of the project.
